This looks like graffiti artists are much more advanced in Paris than they are round here. I love walking around a city, turning a corner and finding something like this. It makes all those times I get lost worth it.

RTD OBE

I don’t have a lot of time for the whole honours system, which is why I could never work out why anyone would even think of paying cash for one, but while we still have it why not throw one in the direction of Russel T Davies? Makes a change from the usual roll-call of […]
Dank u wel

Many thanks to the Netherlands for providing some top entertainment today. Not only have their games been tremendously watchable, but they have now made sure that next week’s France/Italy game has the potential to be a real battle. The game was not as one-sided as the 4-1 result might imply: France still looked dangerous, especially […]

On the way to work this morning I was driving past County Oak retail park and could smell a sort of burning smell. I hate that. I am always convinced that I have broken the car somehow. I was a bit relieved when I got into work and could still smell smoke and it all […]

Section 106
June 10th, 2008 · 10 Comments · Politics
Last week the Crawley News included the regular insert from the council: Crawley Live. Normally this is noncontentious to the point of dullness, but one article this time really wound me up: the one on page 7 about Section 106 agreements. It lists all the various benefits to society resulting from money extracted from developers […]
Top tip for the day

Tonight at about 11pm on Channel 4 is the first episode of Reaper. Take my advice and either stay up late, set the video, Sky+ or V+ box, or hope it will be available on 4OD afterwards.  Last week we watched the first season finale on E4 and it was brilliant, as indeed the whole […]
