Young Rojo is in my bad books now. He has been trying the patience of the entire household for a while now, but I am ridiculously lenient with him and let him (literally) walk all over me. Tonight he came in when Chas got home, jumped on top of me, stuck his nose in my […]

Lost in the Supermarket

It appears that Tesco have come up with an ingenious solution to the old conundrum of labelling the ‘express’ tills. “10 items or less” is just wrong, but “10 items or fewer” sounds clumsy to many people so they have avoided the issue by saying “up to 10 items”.
Some Kind Of Monster

Green, green grass of home

It was almost inevitable really. Months of slogging around in the cold and rain, trying to force soggy leaflets through resistant letter boxes and then as soon as the elections are over its all sunny and warm. I was over in Horsham delivering some leaflets about affordable housing today and it was so much more […]

X-Files Bargain

The other day I found something which is brilliant news for anyone in the unlikely position of really liking the X-Files but not owning any of them on DVD – a box set of all nine seasons, plus the feature film, for £71.97 on Amazon.
