As today’s peace march wasn’t very long I decided to walk home afterwards. I’m not sure the kids were too impressed though. It gave me a chance to actually look at places I would normally be flying past at 50 mph, including the new K2 leisure centre, which is really starting to take shape now. The new Thomas Bennett school next door to it is looking good too, with football pitches and tennis courts all looking ready to use.
